The Kim Loo Sisters Indiegogo Campaign

Here at Birdwaves Media, we've been working for several years on a very exciting project: The Kim Loo Sisters: a documentary.

Scan-13Daughters of a Chinese 'paper son' and a Polish dressmaker, the Kimmies are four remarkable women. The first Chinese American act to star in Broadway musical revues, Alice, Maggie, Jenée and Bubbles cut their theatrical teeth in kiddie revues in their hometown of Minneapolis during the Jazz Age, performed on the national vaudeville circuit during the Great Depression, and rose to stardom on Broadway and Hollywood screens as a popular jazz vocal quartet during the Second World War.
