Step 2 > Destination: Photoshop
Since my drawings are too big for my scanner, I photograph my drawings with an 18-megapixel camera (Canon T2i). I bring these photos into the computer and put them on separate layers and align them in Photoshop.

Sometimes I ink the drawings on paper, sometimes I do this in the computer. I have a decent Wacom tablet, but it's not always satisfying to ink that way. You just can't beat Pen/Brush on paper. Sometimes time constraints are the deciding factor.
After Inking comes the coloring. I create new photoshop layers and label them each. Nothing is more irritating than losing track of what is on a given layer.
