Recording at Ratite Studios
Ratite Studios has been a working project studio since August 2000. The 670 sq.ft. space is divided into two rooms: a control room and a play room. There is a window between the two rooms.
The recording software is now Logic Studio based, with A/D conversion handled by a Focusrite Saffire 40. I have a nice selection of Shure, Rode, Blue, Nakamichi and other assorted mics.
The play room has a nice assortment of amps, including Fender Twim, Marshall JCM 900, and Acoustic 120 bass amp.
There is a 100 year old George Steck baby grand piano (let me know in advance if it is of interest, as I don't keep it tuned). We also have 2 nice drum kits, and an assortment of percussion instruments.
